If you seek to become a top earner, the way to do it is to implement a promotional plan that puts your message in front of thousands of people – not merely a handful of friends, family members and people you know.

You MUST learn to market!

I’ve been groomed by 6 and 7-figure income earners who taught me the following strategies we quietly use to build large businesses:

– Focus On Marketing More Than Duplication

Traditionally, network marketers in companies such as Limu are taught to keep their business-building activities extremely simple and duplicatable by others Focus On Marketing More Than Duplication People in network marketing opportunities like Limu are told they need to keep everything they do simple so people in their Limu downline can duplicate these activities.

Does this keep everything duplicatable strategy actually work? For a very small percentage of marketers, this strategy is effective. But for the extreme majority of multilevel marketers in opportunities like Limu, keeping everything allegedly duplicatable does NOT lead to high levels of duplication.

To prove this to you, look at these stats:

– Only about 20% of network marketers in Limu ever sponsor anyone at all.

– The minority of people that sponsor anyone will only ever sponsor about 2 or 3 people…ever!

– 80 percent of people in your Limu organization will sponsor zero people…that’s right: zero!

In other words, the keep-it-simple approach so popular in network marketing has an 80% failure rate!

Keeping everything you do duplicatable will NOT maximize your Limu income and it also creates problems few talk about. The most popular tactic to keep things simple is warm market recruiting, making a list of friends and family and then prospecting them to try to get them to join Limu.People promote this strategy not because it’s the most effective tactic, but because it’s the simplest.

This strategy can actually lead to people quitting Limu. Once people run out of others to talk to within the first 30-90 days, they will often quit Limu because they have NO CLUE how to perform the one activity they must rely on to build a business: advertising and marketing to generate consistent lead flow. The second problem this friends and family approach creates is it repels high caliber prospects. The absolute best prospects for a Limu business, people with credibility and influence and transferable skills such as real estate brokers, professional sales people, and business professionals, are NOT likely to want to hit up their friends and family about a business. For many professionals, their reputation is their most valuable asset, and few professionals tend to feel comfortable introducing their associates to a business opportunity with which they just got started.

Should you start your Limu business with warm market recruiting? Yes. But unless you learn at least one rock solid marketing and advertising approach, you will run out of people to talk to. Keep in mind your highest quality prospects are going to want to implement a professionally sales and marketing approach as well. Learn how to market your business on the Internet, and you can attract extremely high caliber Limu prospects who want to learn the same. If only a few high caliber team members learn to market Limu online, you could build a very large Limu organization.””

– Market Like A Real Business

Just like any store that advertises to bring in customers, you must market your business. It’s amazing how little network marketers in companies like Limu are taught about real marketing.

Leads you buy, business cards and replicated websites are NOT marketing. Running around with a bunch of silly brochures will NOT build you a large business. Rock-solid marketing consists of a few elements:

Target Market: Who is your target market for your Limu opportunity? Existing business owners? Cash-strapped unemployed people? Network marketers are a really attractive target market. They don’t need to be convinced about the merits of network marketing. They have shown a proven willingness to pull out a credit card and buy stuff for their business.

Position Yourself Strategically: A lot of other people promote Limu too. Why should anyone sign up with you? Clarify your unique selling proposition. (U.S.P.)

Promotion Tactics: How will you generate leads once you have approached all your family and friends about Limu? Learn direct response online marketing tactics that produce leads.

Follow-Up: Once you generate a lead, how will you follow up? To follow up, call your leads, and add them to an automated email follow up system.

– Focus On One Thing At A Time

When people start trying to market a venture such as Limu on the Internet, they almost ALWAYS spread themselves too thin. Rather than learn ONE free way to drive traffic to their websites, such as marketing on Facebook or Twitter or Youtube, they try to master all these free things at the same time.

Rather than focus on one paid advertising strategy such as display advertising, or ezine ads, they try to master advertising in multiple places, all at once. Due to the fact they’ve focused on too many things, new Limu distributors often go into information overload, and complain about feeling overwhelmed.

These people are usually the first ones to quit Limu. In my experience, this pattern is VERY common. Is it a good idea to advertise your Limu business in many places eventually? Certainly.

But this doesn’t need to happen right away. At first, the most important thing is that you generate results. To create results, you must focus on only one tactic at first.

Once you’re consistently generating 20-30 leads per day for your Limu venture from this tactic, then move on to learning another tactic. Trying to master multiple traffic strategies at once WILL NOT work. By focusing on one thing at a time, your Limu business results will actually grow more quickly. Your morale will be higher, and so will your energy level.
