Why You Should Use WordPress For Your Website

I came across some amazing statistics the other day and  wanted to share them with you about WordPress.

WordPress is a platform that many online businesses are using today including some of the big-named companies. There are many reasons why this amazing free platform is being using by more and more businesses each day. Here are some of them.

• There are 69 million WordPress websites in the world
• WordPress sites attract more than 663 million unique visitors each month
• There are more than 72 million WordPress Blogs
• 826,000 YouTube videos are embedded with WordPress websites every week
• 19% of websites worldwide are using WordPress
• Of all websites using a content management system (cms) 59% are using WordPress
• 100,000 new WordPress websites are created each day
• WordPress has more than 26,000 available plugins
• WordPress plugins have been downloaded more than 485 million times
• 22% of all new websites run on WordPress

The stat that I find the most intriguing is 663 million unique visitors each month to WordPress sites. That is one powerful reason why you should be using WordPress for your website and not just for your blog. WordPress is a dynamic not static platform with the ability to add content easily.

That alone should be why you need your website using WordPress as the platform.
